The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has proposed remedies following a major antitrust lawsuit victory against Google, including the potential divestiture of Google's Chrome browser and Android operating system. Concurrently, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) is set to announce findings that Apple has committed antitrust violations related to its App Store, following an investigation that began in December 2021. The CCI's probe focuses on allegations that Apple abused its dominant position in the iOS app store market. Additionally, both the DOJ and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) are preparing for legal actions against major tech companies in April, with the DOJ seeking to break up Google and the FTC initiating a monopolization trial against Meta Platforms. Epic Games has also filed arguments supporting the antitrust ruling against Google.
