India has begun hosting a 24-member delegation of young political leaders representing 14 Sri Lankan parties for a two-week programme aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, according to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs. During an introductory meeting in New Delhi, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri told the delegates that their engagement would be critical to deepening the India–Sri Lanka partnership across political, economic, and cultural spheres. The visit is part of New Delhi’s broader outreach to emerging leaders in South Asia.
