In the broader tech and e-commerce sector, major companies including Google, Meta, Amazon, and Flipkart collectively achieved advertising revenues surpassing ₹60,000 crore during the financial year 2023-24. Google India also reported a 6% increase in profit after tax (PAT) to ₹1,425 crore for FY24, with a total income of ₹7,097.5 crore, including ₹5,921.1 crore from continuing operations.
