Zomato’s board has appointed Aditya Mangla as chief executive officer of the company’s food ordering and delivery business, including the Supplier Marketplace segment, for a two-year term. The decision was approved on 6 July 2025 by the board of Eternal, the listed parent entity formerly known as Zomato. Mangla succeeds Rakesh Ranjan, whose departure was first reported in April. In an internal note, Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal said he values Mangla’s willingness to challenge management decisions, describing him as “one of the few leaders in the food delivery team who regularly pushes back with me.”
