Apple has released security updates for iOS 18.6 and macOS Sequoia 15.6 that patch a zero-day vulnerability in the WebKit browser engine. This vulnerability was actively exploited in attacks targeting Google Chrome users, allowing attackers to break out of the browser sandbox via a malicious web page. The flaw put devices including iPhones, Macs, and iPads at risk. Apple’s updates address this critical security issue, which was also exploited in Safari.
