Apple has been actively advancing the development of its macOS operating systems, releasing multiple beta versions for developers and public testers. The company seeded the second, third, and fourth developer betas of macOS Tahoe throughout June and July 2025, culminating in the release of the first public beta of macOS Tahoe 26 on July 24. Concurrently, Apple has also progressed with macOS Sequoia 15.6, issuing its second and third developer betas, followed by a release candidate version by late July. The macOS Sequoia 15.6 third beta was also made available to public beta testers. These releases indicate Apple's ongoing efforts to refine both macOS Tahoe and macOS Sequoia ahead of their official launches, with macOS Tahoe 26 featuring new Apple Intelligence enhancements.
