Popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, experienced a major cyber-attack on September 25, 2024. His YouTube channels, including BeerBiceps (7.8M subs) and DietPlan, were hacked and renamed to 'Tesla.' The attackers deleted years of content and replaced it with old streams featuring Elon Musk and Donald Trump. The hack also involved promoting fraudulent crypto investments with promises of 200% returns and featured an AI-generated Elon Musk avatar. Allahbadia expressed his distress on Instagram, questioning if this marked the end of his YouTube career. Other YouTubers are also scared. However, by September 27, the channels were successfully restored.
