Nvidia, the world's most valuable company with a market valuation of $3.9 trillion, is planning a multi-billion-dollar expansion in Israel by building a massive new technology campus in the northern part of the country near Yokneam, close to the de-escalated border with Lebanon. The proposed campus is expected to span 17 to 30 acres and include up to 180,000 square meters of space. This development aims to create between 3,000 and 5,000 new tech and engineering jobs, adding to the company's existing workforce of around 5,000 employees in Israel across seven R&D centers, which is Nvidia's largest R&D presence outside the United States. The initiative has prompted multiple offers of sites from local authorities and is seen as a significant boost to AI innovation and the Israeli tech sector.
