Separately, NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal has agreed to pay $1.8 million to settle a class action lawsuit brought by investors in the collapsed cryptocurrency exchange FTX. The lawsuit alleges that O'Neal misled investors through his promotion of FTX. Other athletes and celebrities involved in the litigation, including Tom Brady, Steph Curry, and David Ortiz, may still face potential liabilities amounting to billions in damages.
