Green United LLC's attempt to dismiss an SEC lawsuit has failed, allowing the case to move forward. The SEC accuses Green United executives Wright Thurston and Kristoffer Krohn of running a fraudulent crypto mining scheme that defrauded investors of $18 million. In a separate case, the former CEO of San Francisco-based software company SKAEL has been charged with fraud for allegedly raising $30 million from investors while misrepresenting the company's revenue. SKAEL's main VC backer was Bonfire Ventures. Additionally, the SEC has sued a former blockchain cybersecurity and supply chain management company and its founder, alleging they deceived investors and fraudulently raised more than $5 million. The charges were announced by the U.S Attorney’s Office.

DOJ: “Defendant Allegedly Raised Over $40 Million While Misrepresenting Financial and Sales Information” If this is the indictment bar, I’d expect a claim on [redacted AI fraud] assuming it hasn’t happen already. Getting up to 30% on the first $100M forfeited is 🤏 tempting https://t.co/p804Zw9ZRg https://t.co/nlRc0inVQV
