Former President Donald Trump has called for the prosecution of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for alleged insider trading. Trump alleges that Pelosi and her husband sold more than $500,000 worth of Visa Inc. stock less than three months before the Department of Justice announced an antitrust lawsuit against the credit card giant. Reports indicate that Paul Pelosi sold the stock shortly before the charges were announced. The lawsuit, filed on Tuesday, accuses Visa of illegally monopolizing the debit card market. Visa and Mastercard together control over 80% of the credit card market. Additionally, a Florida sign-making company has filed an antitrust class action against Visa.
