Jeffy Yu, co-founder of the cryptocurrency Zerebro with a $44 million market cap, was found alive at his parents' home in California after staging his own death in a livestream video on the platform Pump.fun. The 22-year-old's apparent suicide led to the creation of a Solana-based memecoin, $LLJEFFY, also known as Legacoin, which surged 2,115% to a market cap of nearly $105 million before plummeting 86.8% to $13.8 million. Yu's staged death was part of an alleged strategy to pump the value of the memecoin. Following the revelation of his survival by the San Francisco Standard, Yu expressed concerns about being doxxed and harassed, stating that his parents would need to move due to the situation.
