Between August 12 and August 17, 2025, multiple large cryptocurrency transfers were recorded involving Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT). Significant movements included 43,872 ETH valued at approximately $193.8 million transferred from an unknown wallet to Coinbase Institutional, and multiple transfers of BTC ranging from hundreds to thousands of coins, with values reaching up to $897.5 million from Coinbase to unknown wallets. USDT transfers were also notable, with large sums moved between major platforms such as Tether Treasury, Aave, HTX, Bitfinex, Kraken, and Binance. For example, 700 million USDT (about $699.7 million) was transferred from Tether Treasury to HTX, and 150 million USDT moved from Bitfinex back to Tether Treasury. Other substantial USDT transfers included 200 million USDT from Aave to an unknown wallet and nearly 100 million USDT from HTX to Binance. Additionally, a new Ethereum address accumulated 9,046 ETH (around $40 million) over 17 hours, having withdrawn a total of 13,538 ETH from Kraken since the previous day. These transactions highlight ongoing high-volume activity across major cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets, reflecting substantial liquidity flows within the digital asset market.
