Binance and Tether Treasury have engaged in multiple large-scale transfers of USDT totaling hundreds of millions of dollars between August 22 and August 26, 2025. These transactions include repeated movements of approximately 500 million USDT (around $500 million) back and forth between Binance and Tether Treasury. Additionally, Bitfinex has transferred and received various amounts of USDT ranging from 100 million to 150 million USDT during the same period. On August 26, Binance announced the launch of the final 500 million USDT quota for the Plasma USDT Locked Product by Plasma Foundation, with subscriptions opening at 11:00 UTC. The product offers daily USDT rewards plus XPL token rewards post-token generation event (TGE). Each user is limited to a maximum subscription of 10,000 USDT, and no further batches will be opened. This final batch aims to accommodate retail investors, with a total capacity supporting up to 50,000 accounts. The initiative follows previous batches and is positioned as the last opportunity for USDT locking under this program.
