Chainlink has announced that its Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard is now compatible with Optimism's SuperchainERC20 standard. The first deployment of this integration was done on the Soneium mainnet via Astar Network's native token, ASTR, making ASTR the first token to be integrated into both SuperchainERC20 and Chainlink CCIP standards. This development enables seamless interoperability across different blockchain ecosystems. Separately, London-based OneBalance, a platform designed to provide a seamless cross-chain user experience for stablecoins and cryptocurrencies, raised $20 million in a Series A funding round led by Cyber Fund and Blockchain Capital. OneBalance's technology includes chain abstraction APIs and resource locks that enable faster transactions and one-click blockchain UX. Additionally, HyperLend, the largest lending protocol on HyperEVM with over $480 million in total value locked (TVL), has become the first project to adopt Chainlink Data Streams on HyperliquidX’s HyperEVM chain. This upgrade provides highly accurate, sub-second price data to enhance lending and borrowing efficiency. In another milestone, Chainlink collaborated with JPMorgan’s Kinexys and Ondo Finance to successfully complete the first cross-chain Delivery-versus-Payment (DvP) settlement. This transaction bridged Kinexys Digital Payments, a permissioned payment network, with Ondo Chain’s public real-world asset (RWA) blockchain testnet, with Chainlink’s Runtime Environment orchestrating the settlement. This achievement marks a significant step in integrating traditional financial infrastructure with blockchain technology for institutional clients, supporting over $23 billion in tokenized RWAs on public chains.
