SharpLink Gaming has expanded its cryptocurrency holdings, adding 15,822 Ether valued at about $54 million to its corporate treasury on 2–3 August, according to blockchain-tracking service WhaleInsider and transaction data shared by market commentators. Blockchain records show the Minneapolis-based sports-betting technology company transferred roughly $108 million in USD Coin to Galaxy Digital before receiving a total of 30,755 ETH over the past two days at an average price near $3,530. The latest purchases bring SharpLink’s cumulative Ether reserve to about 480,000 coins since it began adopting a MicroStrategy-style accumulation strategy in early June, underscoring a growing trend among publicly traded firms to place sizable portions of their balance sheets in digital assets.
