The filing is linked to Truth Social, the social media platform associated with former President Donald Trump. The proposed Bitcoin treasury deal associated with Trump Media is valued at approximately $2.3 billion. Separately, Solana's decentralized exchange (DEX) volume for 2025 has been reported to have reached $900 billion, although this figure is considered an overstatement based on available metrics. Other cryptocurrency-related developments include Japan passing major regulatory reforms and South Korea's new president emphasizing Bitcoin, though some claims about these events have been partially overstated.
