In addition, amid reports of a potential partial Israeli withdrawal from the Morag corridor as part of a hostage exchange deal, Smotrich warned that such a move would be a severe betrayal of Israeli soldiers and their families who sacrificed for the territories. He characterized the withdrawal from areas captured at great cost as a dangerous shift that would enable the enemy to rearm and pose further risks to Israeli forces.
