Defense Minister Israel Katz added that Hamas’s change of stance stemmed from Israel’s threat to launch a full-scale occupation of Gaza City. Katz reiterated that Jerusalem will not accept a partial agreement and is prepared to "complete the mission" if negotiations stall. An Israeli official separately told local media that the government remains opposed to any arrangement that does not secure the release of all hostages. Nevertheless, Netanyahu is expected to review the current offer, which sources say falls short of a comprehensive deal.
