The Baltimore Orioles defeated the Atlanta Braves in Atlanta on Friday night, propelled by a two-run home run from center fielder Cedric Mullins in the fifth inning that opened a 3–0 advantage against Braves starter Spencer Strider. Mullins, batting ninth, drove the ball deep to right to give Baltimore a lead it never relinquished. The Orioles’ pitching staff then preserved the margin to secure the victory and hand Atlanta a home loss.
