Disney's Marvel film "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" maintained its position as the top movie at the North American box office during the weekend of August 1-3, 2025, grossing an estimated $40 million domestically. This marked a 66-67% decline from its opening weekend, which had generated approximately $117.6 million. The film's total domestic gross reached around $197 million, while its international earnings added approximately $170.3 million, bringing the global total to an estimated $368.7 million. The movie also achieved $43.9 million in global IMAX revenue, with $26.3 million from domestic IMAX screens and $17.6 million internationally. Despite the drop in weekend revenue, "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" surpassed the total domestic gross of Marvel's "Thunderbolts" ($190 million) and was close to overtaking "Captain America: Brave New World" ($200 million). It also became the highest-grossing Fantastic Four film of all time worldwide.
