DC Studios co-chair James Gunn said he has read the draft script for director Matt Reeves’ “The Batman Part II” and described it as “great,” according to multiple entertainment outlets published late Monday. Gunn, who oversees the studio’s film and television slate alongside Peter Safran, added that he would give the sequel an immediate green-light if the screenplay includes one particular, undisclosed character. Warner Bros. Discovery has not formally dated the project, which would follow the 2022 hit starring Robert Pattinson.
