Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have released the first teaser for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” giving audiences a brief, nine-second look at Tom Holland’s redesigned suit and confirming a worldwide theatrical release on 31 July 2026. The clip, timed to coincide with the unofficial Spider-Man Day celebration, offers close-up shots of a costume that features raised webbing and a significantly larger chest emblem. Holland followed the studio’s post by sharing a short video of himself in full costume asking, “We ready?” as production continues. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s cast list. Mark Ruffalo returns as the Hulk, while Michael Mando reprises his role as Mac Gargan, also known as Scorpion. Jon Bernthal is set to appear, and additional roles for Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas have been reported, although the participation of previous co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon remains unconfirmed. “Brand New Day” is the fourth installment in Holland’s Spider-Man run, following 2021’s “No Way Home.” Principal photography is under way in Scotland, marking the formal start of the studio’s promotional campaign roughly a year ahead of release.
