Big Hit Music has introduced CORTIS, its first new boy group in six years, by releasing the music video for the track “GO!” and publishing the act’s initial concept photos on 10 August. CORTIS—short for “Color Outside The Lines”—consists of five members: Martin, James, Joohoon, Sunghyun and Geonho. The rookies are presented as a creative collective that contributes to songwriting, choreography and videography, underscoring Big Hit’s push to highlight self-producing artists. The quintet will roll out a pre-debut single, “What You Want,” on 18 August ahead of its first EP, also titled “Color Outside The Lines,” which is scheduled for release on 8 September KST. The label has opened additional social-media channels for the group as it prepares for an international launch.
