South Korea’s busy late-summer release calendar grew more crowded on Aug. 10 as four K-pop boy groups rolled out fresh teasers and concept images for forthcoming projects. BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed that its first act since TXT, a five-member group named CORTIS, will debut on Aug. 18. The label released the music video for the pre-debut single “Go!” and opened a suite of social-media channels—including Instagram, YouTube, Weverse and TikTok—to build momentum ahead of the launch. Stray Kids continued their rollout for “Karma,” the group’s fourth studio album, publishing new images that highlight the eight members’ darker aesthetic. The record is scheduled to arrive on Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. KST, following the band’s DominATE world tour, billed as the largest K-pop concert run to date. Monsta X unveiled the first concept photos for its comeback project “The X,” while Zerobaseone issued a series of summery images for “Never Say Never,” the rookie group’s first full-length set. Release dates for those two titles have not yet been announced.
