TEGNA’s local news properties across Texas have united to raise funds for Kerr County and surrounding areas affected by the flash floods that began on July 4, 2025. The fundraiser aims to support both the ongoing and long-term recovery efforts following the catastrophic flooding in the Texas Hill Country. Multiple Texas news partners, including KLST-TV and CBS19, are participating in the initiative, which includes telethons to encourage donations. The Central Texas Flood Recovery Fund, endorsed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, is the designated channel for contributions to assist impacted communities. As of July 10, the Texas Flood Relief Fund, established by TEGNA, has raised $224,570 to support relief efforts.
