Fanatics and its Topps trading-card division have signed BYU freshman forward AJ Dybantsa to an exclusive, multi-year name-image-likeness agreement covering trading cards, game-used memorabilia and marketing campaigns. The pact begins immediately and will continue after Dybantsa leaves college for the NBA, the companies said Wednesday. Fanatics described the arrangement as one of its most significant NIL deals to date. Financial terms were not released, but recruiting service On3 places Dybantsa’s NIL valuation at about $4.1 million. He will be featured in upcoming Bowman U NOW products and other Bowman offerings under Fanatics Collectibles. Dybantsa, recently named MVP of the FIBA U19 World Cup after leading the United States to gold, was the consensus No. 1 recruit in the 2025 class and is already projected as a potential top pick in the 2026 NBA draft. The agreement underscores the escalating competition among sports-merchandise companies for elite college athletes as the NIL market matures.
