Advanced Micro Devices shares gained as much as 5.8% on Wednesday, reaching their highest level since July 2024 and setting a new 52-week high. The stock had already been up roughly 3% in pre-market trading before extending the advance during the session. The move followed data from industry tracker Mercury Research showing AMD continued to claw back processor market share from rivals.
