Digital-art marketplace Nifty Gateway has opened sales for “The Garden of Other Worldly Delights,” an interactive non-fungible-token project created by the artist known as Other World. The open edition is priced at 0.003 Ether (about US$—depending on current market rates) and is limited to one purchase per account. Collectors who mint the piece enter a gamified experience in which a character called the King of Nothing poses a series of questions; the answers generate a unique on-chain “Sin” token linked to the buyer’s wallet. Auctions for related works in the series also began on Wednesday and are scheduled to close on Friday. The release extends Nifty Gateway’s push into immersive, narrative-driven NFT drops as the platform seeks to differentiate itself in a market that has cooled from its 2021 peak. Other World, who holds a PhD in biomedical engineering, blends collage and illustration to reimagine classical art in what he calls his most ambitious project to date.
