Phantom, a cryptocurrency wallet provider, has acquired SimpleHash, a token and NFT data platform, for an undisclosed amount. Following the acquisition, SimpleHash will shut down all its APIs by March 27, 2025, affecting numerous wallets that relied on its services. In response, various companies, including Moralis, Alchemy, and Zapper, have offered alternatives to assist developers in migrating their applications. Moralis has highlighted that its APIs are nearly identical to those of SimpleHash, while Alchemy is providing three months of credits to affected users. This acquisition marks Phantom's third acquisition in eight months, aimed at enhancing real-time token data insights.
