In the first quarter of 2025, several Romanian companies reported their financial results with mixed outcomes. Antibiotice Iași recorded a net profit of 32.6 million lei, marking a 13% decrease compared to the previous period. Transelectrica reported a net profit of 158 million lei, reflecting a 52% increase. Digi Communications posted a net profit of 8.7 million euros, down 66%, despite a 22% rise in revenue to over 217 million euros and an EBITDA increase of 3% to 41 million euros. The company also reported having 68,000 mobile customers and 10,000 fixed-line customers in the first quarter. MedLife reported a 20% increase in consolidated pro-forma revenue but a 20% decline in net profit to 10.5 million lei. Additionally, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) announced that the average net salary increased by 6.4% to 5,691 lei in March 2025.
