CERT-UA Warns of UAC-0173 Attacks Using DCRat on Ukrainian Notaries and Space Pirates Targeting Russian IT Firms with LuckyStrike Agent

The Computer Emergency Response Team of Ukraine (CERT-UA) has issued warnings regarding two distinct cyber threats. The first involves the criminal group UAC-0173, which is deploying the DCRat malware to compromise Ukrainian notaries. This attack targets the Notary Office of Ukraine and aims to manipulate state registries. The second threat comes from a hacking group known as Space Pirates, which is targeting Russian IT firms with a new malware called LuckyStrike Agent. This malware utilizes Microsoft OneDrive for command-and-control operations and is designed to evade detection. Additionally, the threat actor Sticky Werewolf has resurfaced, employing a previously undocumented implant to deliver the Lumma Stealer malware in attacks against organizations in Russia and Belarus.
