Preliminary government data indicate that Russia pumped an average 9.022 million barrels of crude a day in June, leaving output roughly 28,000 barrels a day below the level agreed with the OPEC+ alliance, according to people familiar with the figures. The shortfall suggests Moscow remained within its pledge to curb supply as the producer group seeks to stabilise global oil markets. Russia had previously signalled its intention to meet its allotment through 2025 after voluntary cuts by several members were extended earlier this year.
