Al-Nassr Football Club has officially parted ways with head coach Stefano Pioli less than a year after his appointment in September 2024. The Italian coach's departure follows the team's third-place finish in the Saudi Professional League. Cristiano Ronaldo, a key player for Al-Nassr, is currently without a head coach. Fernando Hierro, the club's sporting director, is reportedly seeking alternatives for the managerial position. In parallel, Al-Nassr has agreed to loan Colombian striker Jhon Durán to Turkish club Fenerbahçe. Durán joined Al-Nassr in January 2025 for a reported fee of €77 million after a prolific spell at Aston Villa, scoring 12 goals in 18 matches for the Saudi side. Fenerbahçe will cover €10 million of Durán's salary during the loan, and negotiations are ongoing to finalize terms with the player. Durán is open to the move following discussions with Fenerbahçe's director Devin Özek and head coach José Mourinho. Additionally, there are reports that Fernando Hierro may leave Al-Nassr, with suggestions that Cristiano Ronaldo's continued presence at the club could influence this decision.
