Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen has reached agreement on personal terms with Galatasaray, accepting a three-year contract with an option for a further season that would keep him in Istanbul until June 2028. Galatasaray have offered Napoli about €55 million, comprising €50 million upfront and €5 million in bonuses, but the Italian club rejected the proposal and is demanding that the full €75 million release clause in the 25-year-old’s contract be paid. Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal have indicated they are willing to trigger the clause yet have not secured the player’s approval, while Manchester United sounded out a move but asked Osimhen to lower his wage demands, an approach he declined. Negotiations between Galatasaray and Napoli are expected to continue this week.
