French international left-back Théo Hernández, aged 27, has completed a transfer from AC Milan to Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal. The deal, confirmed by both clubs and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, involves a transfer fee of €25 million paid to AC Milan. Hernández has signed a three-year contract with Al Hilal, reportedly earning €75 million over the duration of the deal. The transfer follows verbal agreements reached earlier in June 2025, with formal steps finalized in early July after Al Hilal's participation in the FIFA Club World Cup concluded. AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri confirmed Hernández's departure, stating the player made a different choice and wishing him well. Hernández had been with AC Milan since 2019 and is expected to join Al Hilal under the management of Simone Inzaghi. The transfer is part of Al Hilal's squad restructuring, with Hernández set to wear the number 19 jersey. The move marks Hernández's exit from top European football to the Saudi league, where he will join fellow defender João Cancelo.
