Manchester United gave supporters a first look at their summer overhaul, parading new arrivals Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Paraguayan teenager Diego Leon on the Old Trafford pitch. The presentation, held ahead of the club’s final pre-season fixture, underlined manager Erik ten Hag’s push to add pace and goals across the frontline. The event also doubled as a farewell to long-time goalkeeper David de Gea, who returned to receive a standing ovation after leaving on a free transfer in 2024. The Spaniard departed United last year with 545 appearances and a club-record 190 clean sheets. Elsewhere on the transfer front, French winger Allan Saint-Maximin landed in Mexico City declaring himself “very happy to be here” as he moved closer to sealing a deal with Liga MX giants Club América.
