These include the Data Engineering Agent and Data Science Agent, both currently in preview, as well as a Code Interpreter developed in collaboration with Google DeepMind. The updates aim to automate data tasks, potentially reducing labor costs by up to 70%, while improving productivity and minimizing errors in data processing. Additionally, Google has launched a Spanner columnar engine and enhanced its Conversational Analytics Agent. These innovations were announced at the Cloud Next Tokyo event and reflect Google's strategic focus on simplifying data preparation and analysis for data scientists and engineers. Gartner recently ranked Google Cloud number one for "completeness of vision" in AI infrastructure, underscoring its leadership in setting the industry roadmap. Furthermore, Google Distributed Cloud now offers Agentspace search, providing unified, secure access to data without the need for costly in-house search solutions or specialized AI expertise.
