Google Launches Stitch AI Tool Powered by Gemini to Generate UI Designs and Export Code, Available Free with Limits

Google has introduced Stitch, a new AI-powered design tool currently in beta that generates user interface (UI) designs from simple text prompts. Stitch leverages Google's latest DeepMind Gemini model to quickly create high-quality UI layouts, automatically adjust images using Imagen, and support multi-language content translation. Once users are satisfied with the design, they can export the front-end code for easy integration into development workflows, including seamless copying into Figma. The tool is available for free with monthly usage limits. Stitch aims to streamline the app and website design process by reducing the need for boilerplate work and eliminating the challenge of starting from a blank canvas. This launch comes amid other advancements in AI-driven design tools, such as Framer's recent AI features that facilitate website creation, interactive component generation, and advanced analytics capabilities.
