GROK COMPANIONS have gotten their own X profiles! Ani and Valentine have some very luxury usernames too! @a and @v! Maybe we will soon be able to chat with them here?! https://t.co/4OraIDwCzL
Grok's AI Companions Ani - @a Valentine - @v Also Rudi - @Rudi (for kids stories) Bad Rudi - @BadRudi (not for kids!)
Will Ani's @a or Valentine's @v accounts reply and interact on X just like @grok?
Elon Musk said his artificial-intelligence venture xAI has introduced four companion chatbots for its Grok language model and given each its own account on X, the social network he also owns. The characters—Ani (@a), Valentine (@v), Rudi (@Rudi) and Bad Rudi (@BadRudi)—are expected to interact publicly with users much as the primary @grok bot already does. Rudi is aimed at children’s storytelling while Bad Rudi is intended for more adult exchanges, Musk said. The use of rare single-letter handles such as @a and @v highlights Musk’s plan to build visibility for the project on the platform, where premium account names can be commercially valuable. The move expands xAI’s presence on X as the company races against rivals such as OpenAI and Anthropic to popularize consumer-facing generative-AI services. Musk has previously said he intends to integrate xAI features deeply into X to create a comprehensive “everything app.”
