Elon Musk and other users have announced a new feature on the social media platform 𝕏 that allows users to convert images into videos using the Grok Imagine app. By long-pressing any image on 𝕏 and selecting the “Make Video with Grok” option, users can create high-quality videos from still images within seconds. This feature is available on the latest 𝕏 app version 11.12.1 for iOS, with an Android version forthcoming. The Grok Imagine app has also received updates to enhance usability, including displaying recent photos at the top for easier animation and enabling users to press and hold the play icon to instantly select the video mode directly from the home screen. Users can convert images from their gallery into videos with a single tap and have options to download videos without sound by muting before saving. The feature aims to simplify turning photos into dynamic content and encourages sharing creations with friends and family.
