Chile has expelled 37 foreigners to Bolivia, Colombia, and Ecuador as part of its ongoing immigration enforcement efforts, bringing the total number of expulsions in 2025 to over 670. Among those deported is a Colombian individual considered dangerous and wanted by Interpol. Meanwhile, Ecuador has deported nearly 800 Colombian prisoners, a move that has led to diplomatic tensions between Ecuador and Colombia, with both countries exchanging accusations over the operation. Ecuador's Minister has stated that the deported prisoners will be barred from returning to Colombia for 40 years. Additionally, Venezuela nationals residing in Chile could begin to be repatriated starting next week, with Bolivia playing a key role in this process.
