SpaceX and NASA successfully launched the CRS-33 mission on August 24, 2025, at 2:45 a.m. ET (0645 UTC) from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station's pad 40. This mission marks the 33rd Commercial Resupply Services flight by SpaceX to the International Space Station (ISS) and the 50th Dragon spacecraft mission overall. The Dragon C211.3 spacecraft carried approximately 5,000 pounds of science experiments, crew supplies, and equipment to support Expedition 73 aboard the ISS. The spacecraft is equipped with a new 'boost trunk' featuring two Draco engines to perform orbital reboosts during its planned five-month stay. The Dragon capsule was scheduled to dock with the ISS's Harmony module at around 7:00 a.m. ET on August 25, 2025, approximately 260 miles above Earth. NASA and SpaceX provided live coverage of both the launch and docking events. The mission aims to deliver critical cargo to support ongoing scientific investigations and crew needs on the orbiting laboratory.
