FC Barcelona has officially announced its return to the Spotify Camp Nou stadium on August 10, 2025, coinciding with the annual Joan Gamper Trophy match. This marks the end of a two-year period during which the club played its home games at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Montjuïc due to extensive renovation and modernization works at Camp Nou. Despite the stadium still being under construction, it will partially reopen with a reduced capacity of approximately 60,000 spectators, down from its full capacity of 99,354 seats. The club has launched a campaign titled "Tornem a casa, vibrem" (We return home, we vibrate) to promote the return. The reopening is pending final licensing approvals, and the Joan Gamper Trophy will serve as a test event for the new stadium facilities. The renovations aim to expand and modernize the iconic stadium, which has been closed for upgrades since 2023.
