Real Madrid has reached an agreement with UD Almería to sign 20-year-old striker Rachad Fettal on a three-year contract. The forward will report to Real Madrid Castilla, the club’s reserve side coached by Álvaro Arbeloa, as the team builds its squad for next season’s promotion bid. Fettal featured in 19 matches for Almería’s first team in 2024-25—17 in La Liga and two in the Copa del Rey—scoring once against Eibar before a knee injury curtailed his campaign. The 1.84-metre forward was born in Torre Pacheco, Murcia, has Moroccan heritage, and has tallied two goals in seven appearances for Morocco’s under-20 team after earlier representing Spain at under-17 level. He made his top-flight debut on 3 December 2023 in a goalless draw with Real Betis. Fettal becomes Castilla’s latest attacking reinforcement as the side targets a return to Spain’s Segunda División.
