The Connecticut Sun beat the Chicago Sky 94-84 at Wintrust Arena on Saturday, extending their winning streak to a season-best three games and lifting their record to 9-27. Veteran center Tina Charles finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds, becoming the first player in WNBA history to reach 200 career double-doubles. Guard Bria Hartley matched Charles with 23 points on 8-of-9 shooting, including 3-for-3 from beyond the arc, while Marina Mabrey added 20 points and reserve Saniya Rivers contributed 13. Chicago fell behind 28-13 after the first quarter and trailed by as many as 21 late in the third, but trimmed the margin to four with five minutes remaining before Hartley’s late three-pointer restored Connecticut’s cushion. The Sky committed 17 turnovers that led to 26 Sun points. Sky head coach Tyler Marsh was ejected two minutes into the second quarter for arguing a no-call, leaving assistant coaches to guide the team the rest of the way. Kia Nurse paced Chicago with 19 points, Kamilla Cardoso scored 18, and rookie forward Angel Reese posted her league-leading 19th double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Chicago fell to 9-27.
