Trading platform eToro has expanded its U.S. offerings by adding 12 new cryptocurrency tokens for trading following a settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and a push toward an initial public offering (IPO). The newly available tokens include AAVE, ADA, LINK, COMP, DOGE, ETC, LTC, XRP, XLM, SHIB, UNI, and YFI. These additions complement the existing availability of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) on the platform. This expansion aims to enhance investment options for U.S. users amid regulatory developments. Separately, Ondo Global Markets announced plans to bring tokenized stocks and ETFs from the NYSE and NASDAQ onchain, offering 24/7 accessibility, margin eligibility, and DeFi composability for both individual users and platform developers.
