The following day, May 15, these imbalances increased, with the S&P 500 reaching 3.4 billion shares, NASDAQ 100 at 2.6 billion, Dow 30 at 981 million, and MAG 7 at 1.3 billion shares, corresponding to an estimated $6.1 billion in buy orders. By May 16, Market on Open (MOO) imbalances were reported at lower volumes, with the S&P 500 at 930 million shares, NASDAQ 100 at 499 million, Dow 30 at 218 million, and MAG 7 at 190 million shares. The activity indicates persistent buying pressure in these indexes during this period, with notable emphasis on buybacks.
