SharpLink Gaming expanded its cryptocurrency treasury by purchasing 143,593 Ether for approximately $667 million at an average price of about $4,648 per token. The acquisition raises the sports-betting technology firm’s total Ether holdings to 740,760 coins, valued at roughly $3.1 billion at prevailing market prices. The company financed the latest purchase with part of the $537 million in net proceeds it raised last week through at-the-market and direct equity offerings. Following the transaction, SharpLink still holds more than $84 million in cash that could be deployed for additional digital-asset investments. Since launching its staking program on June 2, SharpLink has also earned 1,388 ETH in rewards, further boosting its overall cryptocurrency exposure.
