The Syrian Arab Army has initiated the withdrawal of heavy machinery and a substantial number of troops from the city of Suwayda as part of preparations to hand over control of the city's neighborhoods to the Internal Security Forces. This move follows the completion of security sweep operations in the area. Despite the withdrawal, clashes have resumed in several neighborhoods within Suwayda, with armed groups reportedly entrenched and firing on Syrian security forces. The Syrian Army continues to conduct sweeping operations in the city. Concurrently, there has been ongoing civilian displacement from Suwayda toward the eastern countryside of Daraa.
